- Client's Need
Fidelity Wes, a home building and land development company based in the Chicago suburbs, needed an update to their website. As part of the redesign, they desired a full featured CMS with the ability to manage their properties, display property availability and information via a Flash interface, post news and announcements, and more.
- My Solution
I designed and developed twenty unique interfaces including a front-end for news posts, property browsing, property map displays, and the entire CMS. Nine of the twenty interfaces were co-designed by another web / flash designer. Additionally, I created a fully functional CMS using PHP, MySQL, and XML for their properties that could be leveraged via both PHP and Flash. This CMS was easy to use and we prepared a full documentation of the finished product that explained how any lay-person could edit and update the website, properties, and publish updates to the property maps. Site was completed; however, unresolved payment issues (unrelated to my work) halted delivery.
