Coast 360

- Client's Need
On June 2nd, I was informed that there was a need for a website for our multimedia production company, Coast 360, that had to be up and working using WordPress as the content management system by July 4th. With a basic content outline, a couple of graphic design concepts (no web designs), and a preferred functional requirements document, the project was handed off to me on June 3rd.
- My Solution
By using WordPress and rapid design/development practices, a content-rich website was developed utilizing twelve unique templates, a wide variety of custom functions and classes, numerous WordPress "hacks", several plugins, multiple APIs for miscellaneous data (Eventful, Yahoo Weather, and NOAA Weather Forecast), and a content-focused information architecture. The logo was designed by the brand designer, and I created the web design that followed some loose guidelines from the brand designer and previously created marketing materials.
